Sunday night

Greetings, it is Sunday night and we are always glad when the day is over. Today was Richard's 9th birthday, the fifth birthday since returning from NZ so another party was in order. We have gotten quite good at providing a party for 30 or so children.
In other news, Marilyn has another bout of malaria at present. It started Friday after assemblies, was diagnosed yesterday morning so she has now taken two days of medication and is beginning to feel better which is encouraging. It really saps her energy levels and makes her tired all the time. Please pray that she will continue to improve.
We also have a new child, a sweet boy whom we have named Nathan. He was found abandoned in a sugar plantation (hence the 'sweet boy') and is thought to be about 9 months old. He is severely malnourished but seems to be responding to love and attention. He has beautiful big eyes. I think he is child number 137.
Just one more week before the holidays, only three weeks this time but I'm sure we will be ready for a holiday after that.
