Warwick's 'quiet' birthday

The band playing "Happy Birthday", a first for me.
Pete pretending it is his birthday and the children began to sing for him
 Tabitha enjoying her ice cream
 others also enjoying
 even Tessa
 what a mouthful, yummmmm
Rhode to help me with the cake and presents
 first the cake
Lydia and Joan to help distribute
 a smiling Joan
now the presents, I love the tongue
 my very own bath set
 a healthy Nelima
but wait there's more, down at our house the Aunties had set up a surprise party outside
 with another cake and goodies
a girls 'choir' with a repertoire of birthday songs
A Marjorine with a special pineapple and ginger drink
not a flattering photo really but the camera doesn't lie
support crew of A Christine, A Daisy and A Carol

Swimming

an outing to the pool at African Village
 all on to Uncle Zadock
3 beauties watching on, Susannah, Lydia, and Lois
 blessing the food before lunch
these four, Sarah,Lydia, Priscilla and Betty, played with each other all afternoon, it was delightful to watch
On another day we took Rhode for her first paddle in the water
 she rather liked the swing
not too sure of the slide though
but did get a taste of the water (in more than one way). We must do it again sometime soon

Uncle Sam our general manager

 Awaiting his arrival
 here he comes
 welcome back
our much beloved General Manager home after a horrific ordeal having been arrested and jailed on the basis of lies. Many of the children spent the day in court with Pete in support of him. The Ugandan 'justice' system appears to be seriously questionable
 surrounded by the children
Giving thanks through prayer for his safe return
