Greetings to all

This is once again a much overdue post, it has been so long since I have written that it is hard to know what to write about, but here goes.
We are well and managing to keep busy with school, church, music teaching, Sunday school, assemblies and containers so there is not a lot new there. We are enjoying having more Muzungus (white people) here as it is the European and Northern Hemisphere summer and we get more visitors during this time. We have Stephanie from Canada, Paul from Germany, Claudia is back for a few weeks from the Netherlands, Tamar is also back for some internship in Kampala and spends the weekends here, Jerome is back with his wife Janna and another friend Anna, and we also have a group of six from Promontory church in Canada. So we have a good influx of others. On Friday the Canadians leave and the first team from the Netherlands arrive (I think there are 18  or so in their team) so things continue to get busier and busier.
Our brass band is very much in demand, as they have performed at several outings recently. Daniel has done a very good job with them and they are sounding better and better.
As some of the photos recently added will show, we are in the big church for our Sunday services and a lot of work has been done to make it suitable for worship. We are regularly filling all the chairs we have (150) and even more, so we definitely would not fit in the other small church at Piet and Pita's side.
We continue to appreciate and  give thanks to those who write to us and especially for the 'care packages' we have received recently, I am enjoying the cappuccino sachets and Marilyn enjoys her 'Litebreak', not that this is a hint or anything. We also appreciate the prayer support we get from many quarters.
On the family front, we are really delighted that Jen & Scott are now working together on the same boat (called Zoom Zoom Zoom) having been without work for a long time. We have prayed for this and thank the Lord for His answer to prayer.
Until next time
God Bless

Today

at lunchtime our two donkeys were frolicking just outside our kitchen window having a lovely time rolling in the sand
these donkeys are a great source of fun, they are quite playful
Nelima snapped today, so close to walking
 using the furniture
and posing. It is such a joy to see her progress.

A supply of the Bibles we love for the children brought over by our Canadian visitors. We had not been able to get them here in Uganda.
Johnny getting his and Irene on her way up for hers
 Lois and Leah receiving theirs
All eight happy children with their bibles along with Pastor John, his wife Joan and Darlene & Neil from Canada

Church update

Saturday afternoon worship team practice for Sunday service. These are the songbook songs
Then stand up for the Luganda praise and worship songs. They really enjoy these
The cross at the back of the church
set up ready for the worship
during the service, praise and worship team up front
a closer view. Terrible lighting for a good photo
 the congregation from the front
Marilyn & the guitarists (she does not like this photo but she is definitely singing)
