An update

Greetings. Since our last posting we have been quite busy and I hoped to show some pictures but this morning they would not go so I'll resort to just a message and try again with pictures later.
Firstly there was Piet's birthday which was celebrated in fine fashion. The children performed, sang, danced, and acted. Over 200 people were fed (coleslaw, sausage, meat pattie, chapati, bun...), sodas were consumed and gifts given. A good time was had by all. We got Raghma out to share in it and she loved it, crawled all over the place, 'sang' and danced to the music, learnt to clap, and went to bed tired- so did we. The next day we sorted out some shoeboxes as there was a sportsday on Saturday and every child got a shoebox at the end of the day. It was quite an undertaking as we needed 256 boxes but with some help we managed it. Saturday was a good day, there was more participation this year from more children, as they limited the number of events each child could enter. We had the task of keeping track of the points again which was good, because we were involved throughout the day.
We farewelled the team from Holland on Monday, they had helped with the sports day and the construction of the house next door, and there is another team from Holland arriving on Friday to continue the work so our quiet neck of the forest has been very busy. We are hoping that the girls can come down soon. There is a family of 5  from Holland staying in the house next door but they leave on Wednesday next week, so we think the place is available after that.
Finally our dear wee Raghma continues to give us much joy. She just loves coming down here and she has an adorable smile, showing off her teeth, she also loves crawling throughout the house (a new challenge for us) and loves standing on her feet. She is not walking yet  but will not be too far off. She is also getting quite chubby as she is into her solids in a big way. Our days do not seem complete unless we see her.
Thankfully, we are both healthy at present though we do get tired easily still. Thank you to all who have and are still praying for us. Your faithfulness is very much appreciated, please don't stop. Please pray for a special Aunty, Aunty Eunice who has stomach ulcers among other things and is most unwell at present, she is a real gem of an Aunty who has been here for 3 years now and loves the children. Also pray for baby Dina who has a leaky heart and will need open heart surgery probably in August. She has struggled with breathing and in feeding for a long time and  is now 2 months old.
That's about it for now, will try again with some pics tomorrow.
Till next time, God Bless
