An update from Jinja

Oli Otya, Kia Ora, G'day
Time to update folks on our situation. We are in Jinja for two nights for a wee break, it will be our last time here. Marilyn has what we hope will be her last bout of malaria as we have made a decision that it is time to return to NZ for now. We have had five and a half years with NACMU, time which has been some of the most challenging but also the most rewarding of our lives and feel it is now time to leave. we depart on Dec. 22nd and arrive in Auckland at 2pm 24th Dec, just in time to have Christmas with Chris & Beck. So we are into having the last of things (Friday will be our last school assemblies) and trying to pack up and decide what to bring and what to leave will be a mission in itself. But to other news, Patrick remains at home but because of the HIV medication he is getting he is not feeding well, he brings a lot of it back, so please continue to pray for him. On Saturday we received another gift in the form of 5 day old Jason. He had been dumped literally on a rubbish dump and doused with paraffin, a passerby scared away whoever was responsible and took him to Mukono police. They called us so Mama & Papa went to get him. He is a gorgeous wee fella but did have a severe wound which was full of puss but he is in good hands at home. We will know more when we return this afternoon.
Other than that life continues to be full on, we have a lot to do in the next month so please pray for us for wisdom and energy
till next time, I will post some photos soon
God Bless
